The stud´s first mares were bought in 1967-68. They were Cocum Lindy Lou RC 95 (called "Lofty"), from England and the irish Gina of Ganty CSB 2792 / RC 50.
These mares gave us a lot of fun, experience and not at least friends in Ireland and in England. In 1989 the late James Jones, Ashfield Stud, helped us to find the mares Rolo CSB 8078 and Creewood Folly CSB 8710.
Our aim is to breed connemara ponies true to type with a good temperament, a good jumping ability and willing to work. In average we produce three foals a year.

Every summer we have young colts and geldings coming to graze.

The startpage shows the gelding Octavian, belonging to our son Oskar. Octavian has everything you can ask from a pony and has given Oskar and the family a lot of nice memories. He was born 1978 by Slieve Dara CSB 146/RC 2 out of Clonkeehan Tigris CSB 3229/ RC 62.
